Josie Maran Bio and Gallery

Josie Maran was born in Menlo Park, California on May 8, 1978. She has a few different nationalities, including Russian Jewish from her father's side of the family, and Dutch, German, and French from her mother's side.

Josie is 5 feet 7 1/2 inches tall with brown hair and brown eyes. Her measurements are 34-23-34.

Like most other models, Josie was discovered by a modeling agent. This happened at an earlier age than most supermodels. She was discovered when she was just 12 years old, while she was dining at a barbecue restaurant. Being so young at the time, she only pursued modeling as a part-time job.

Josie then graduated from highschool, and decided to pursue her modeling career much more fervently.

She has appeared in particularly print advertising because she is not quite tall enough for high fashion runway modeling. Josie has modeled for Guess?, Andrew Marc, OP, Maybelline, Victoria's Secret, BeBe, American Eagle, Neutrogena, and many other companies.

In addition, Josie has been in magazines such as Cosmopolitan, Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition, GQ, Lucky, FHM, Vogue, Glamour in which she has appeared 6 times so far, and others.

Josie also has quite the filmography, appearing as an actress in movies and shows such as Swatters, The Mallory Effect, Little Black Book, Van Helsing, The Confession, Jimmy Kimmel Live, The Howard Stern Show, The Need for Speed: Most Wanted, and more.

Josie has a daughter named Rumi Joon Alborzi who was born on June 20, 2006 in Los Angeles, California.

She is currently with Elite Model Management.
