Homemade Face Mask Recipe
Try a face mask recipe whenever you feel like having some time to yourself!
You should be able to easily find most of these ingredients from your kitchen or from the grocery store, which makes is what makes it such an easy skincare option.
A few words to the wise: don't leave it on longer than the recommended time because your skin could possibly get irritated.

Also, be sure to take the mask off of your face if you see any irritation developing when applying any face mask.

Dry Skin | Normal Skin | Oily Skin
Dry Skin Recipes
Avocado Goo
- 4 tbsp. clay
- 2 tsp. water
- 1/2 mashed avocado
- Combine all ingredients, and thoroughly mix.
- Apply the mix to your entire face.
- Leave on for 15 minutes, rinse with lukewarm water, then apply moisturizer.
Sweet Eggs
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tbsp. honey
- Combine ingredients together and mix thoroughly.
- Apply the mixture to your face.
- Leave on for at least 5 minutes, rinse off with lukewarm water, then apply moisturizer.
Creamy Peaches
- 1 fresh peach
- Cream
- Mix the peach with enough cream to make a soft paste.
- Apply the paste to your face.
- Leave on for at least 5 minutes, then rinse off with lukewarm water.
Normal Skin Recipes
Corn Oatmeal
- 1/2 cup oatmeal
- 1/2 cup cornmeal
- warm water
- Combine the oatmeal and cornmeal in a blender and blend. Sift a small handful of the mix and add warm water.
- Apply the paste to your entire face.
- Leave on your face for at least 5 minutes, rinse with lukewarm water, then apply moisturizer.
Honey Clay
- 4 tbsp. clay
- 2 tsp. water
- 2 tsp. honey
- Combine all ingredients and mix thoroughly.
- Put on your face, remember to avoid the delicate eye area.
- Leave on your face for 15 minutes, rinse with lukewarm water, then apply moisturizer.
Ripe Papaya
- 1 ripe Papaya
- Crush the ripe papaya.
- Spread over your entire face. Leave on for about two minutes.
- Wash your face with lukewarm water, and apply moisturizer.
Oily Skin Recipes
Brewer's Mask
- Brewer's Yeast
- Water
- Combine the Brewer's Yeast and water together. Mix thoroughly, and apply the paste to the entire face.
- Allow the paste enough time to dry.
- Rinse off with lukewarm water, and apply moisturizer.
Honey Lemon
- 4 tbsp. clay
- 2 tsp. water
- 2 tsp. lemon
- 2 tsp. honey
- Combine clay, water, lemon, and honey. Then mix the ingredients together thoroughly.
- Apply the mixture to your entire face.
- Leave on for 15 minutes, rinse off with lukewarm moisturizer, then apply moisturizer.
Strawberry Yogurt
- 5 Ripe Strawberries
- 1 tsp. Plain Yogurt
- Smash all five strawberries.
- Combine the smashed strawberries with one teaspoon of plain yogurt.
- Apply the mixture to face, leave on for at least 5 minutes, then rinse off with lukewarm water.
Deep-Cleansing Clay Mask
- 1 cup Fuller's Earth Clay
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup Lanolin
- 1/4 oz. Beeswax
- In a saucepan, melt the lanolin and the beeswax.
- While stirring, add 1/2 cup of water.
- Take saucepan off burner, and add the Fuller's Earth clay.
- Apply the mixture to your face for about five minutes.
- Rinse off with lukewarm water, and apply moisturizer to your face.
Almond Oatmeal
- Oatmeal
- Almonds
- Lemon Juice
- Blend all ingredients together using a blender.
- Cover your entire face with the paste.
- Leave on for at least 5 minutes, rinse with lukewarm water, then apply moisturizer.
Cool Cucumber
- 7 Cucumber Slices
- Place the cucumber slices on your eyes, cheeks, chin, nose, and forehead.
- Leave on for at least 5 minutes.
- Apply moisturizer to your face afterward.
