Make a Statement with Your Eyeshadow
Eyeshadow application is an art, that if done correctly, truly makes your eyes expressive.
Eye shadows come in three different forms, colored pencils, powder, and cream. Powder is more versatile, because you can use it either dry or wet.
Learn how to apply eye shadows to accentuate your eyes and make them look more expressive, as well as how to apply eye shadows for different eye shadow effects.
Concealer First ...
Remember that before you learn how to apply eye shadows, you'll need to apply foundation or concealer to your eyelid, (eye shadow clings to foundation or concealer).
If you are using brushes to apply your eye shadow (instead of the applicator that some come with), a dome shaped brush will work the best.

Eyeshadow Tips
- Powder your entire eyelid after you apply foundation or concealer.
- After applying powder, your eyelid should feel silky and smooth.
- Always remember to apply foundation or concealer to your entire eyelid before you apply your eye shadow.
- Don't apply shimmer powder to puffy eyes as this will only accentuate your eyes.
- Dipping your shadow brush into the eye shadow from the top will just break pressed powder.
- If you want an evening look, don't blend your eye shadow.
- For an everyday look, be sure to blend your eye shadow after applying it.
