Elsa Benitez was born on December 8, 1977 in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico.

Elsa is 5 feet 11 inches tall, and her measurements are 36, 24, 35.

When she was 19 years old, Elsa was first discovered. She was already modeling, but then her modeling agency sent some pictures to a photographer.

Soon her career skyrocketed and she went to New York to continue modeling. Steven Meisel, photographer, was one of the ways in her rise to fame because he kept photographing Elsa.

Since then, Elsa has appeared on many covers for magazines such as Elle, Vogue, Marie Claire, Harper's Bazaar, and others. Elsa has also been in advertisements for top designers and namebrands including Nine West, Victoria's Secret, Ferragamo, Dolce & Gabbana, and others.

Most fashion models not only appear on the runways, but also appear on film. As of yet, Elsa has not appeared in any films, but plans to. She has already taken acting classes, which can give her the edge, as well as the fact that she is bilingual, speaking both English and Spanish fluently.
