Brighten Your Skin Tone with Concealer
Ever wonder what it is that makes a model's face look so smooth and clear? The use of concealer is one of the things that can contribute to a clearer complexion.
When you are applying your foundation it is the second out of three makeup steps.
It is used to cover blemishes, pimples, tiny veins, or dark circles, that foundation alone will not cover. Three forms commonly seen include stick, cream, and liquid.
This type of make up is usually applied using your fingertips, or a small application brush.
If you are going to apply eye shadow on later, provide a sufficient base for your eyelids.
Application to under eye circles will help you obtain a fresher-looking complexion.
When looking for the right one, make sure it a shade lighter than your normal foundation.
Application Tips for Concealer
- Don't get a color that is too dark because it will make your eyes look smaller.
- Don't get a color that is too light because what you'll be trying to hide will be more noticeable.
- Cream is the easiest to apply because it is like a mix between stick and liquid, and is just the right consistency.
- Never pull your skin, especially the delicate skin around your eyes.
- Don't apply too close to your bottom eyelashes because it will emphasize the little wrinkles around your eyes.
