Christie Brinkley Bio and Gallery

Christie Brinkley was born in Detroit, Michigan on February 2, 1954. This former American supermodel is 5 feet 9 inches tall.

Even though she was born in the state of Michigan, she was raised in Malibu, California and in 1972, she graduated from Palisades High School in Los Angeles. When she was just 18 years old, she enrolled in art school.

In the 1970s, her modeling career began when she was discovered by a fashion photographer.

One thing to note is that Christie Brinkley was actually the very first woman who was on the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition for three years in a row.

In 1976, Christie actually signed a contract with Cover Girl that ended up being renewed for another 20 years.

In addition, Christie has also been on television, including promotions for home fitness equipment, infomercials. She appeared on CNN, the Today Show in 1993 for a 4-parts section about beauty tips, and even had her own television show entitled Living in the 90's With Christie Brinkley.

She has been married 4 times, and has two daughters and one son children named Alexa Ray, Jack Paris, Sailor Lee.

One thing that you may not know about her is that she is a vegetarian.
