Adriana Lima started modeling when she was just 13 years old when she was discovered while she was out shopping at a mall. Adriana was born on June 12 in 1981 in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil.

She has African, Swiss, and Indian origins, Adriana is also fluent in Portuguese, Spanish, and English.

Some of the fashion companies that Adriana has appeared for include: Guess?, Victoria's Secret, Bebe, Mossimo, Gasoline, and Maybelline.

Adriana also does charity work, which includes working with an orphanage in her hometown, called Caminhos da Luz.
